For our very first blog, we wanted to first off say thank you to our customers. \u00a0You all have made The Exit Room successful, and we\u2019ve had so much fun with you in our first three years! \u00a0Many of you have noticed that we\u2019ve been expanding our business by adding other locations. You\u2019ve also noticed that our newest venture, located in Branson, Missouri, is not called The Exit Room. \u00a0So\u2026<\/p>\n

What the heck is The Puzzle Parlour?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Back when we first started, and in the course of trying to name our baby business, we came up with The Exit Room. \u00a0It seemed like a good fit. We have rooms. The goal is to solve all the puzzles and to \u201cunlock\u201d the door and, well, exit. \u00a0And don\u2019t get us wrong, we still love our name. But, as we looked into expanding our business and all the legal stuff that goes with that, we decided to change our overall name so that all future endeavors will be under The Puzzle Parlour.<\/p>\n

Basically, The Puzzle Parlour is the parent, and all our locations are its children (pay no attention to the fact that The Exit Room child was \u201cborn\u201d before the parent \u2013 although that does seem like an awesome, crazy, time-travelly idea for an escape adventure!). \u00a0Our family tree looks like this:<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

What\u2019s awesome about our \u201cchildren\u201d is that each one is unique. \u00a0We don\u2019t do cookie-cutter adventures for all our locations \u2013 each has its own stories and traits. \u00a0There may be some similarities between locations (for example, The Mystery of Whispering Woods is at both our Paradise Park location and our Branson location), but the look and puzzles are a bit different. \u00a0However, all our locations share some traits. For example, at each location you will have an awesome adventure. Also the same is our dedication to quality and customer experience. Here\u2019s a little introduction to each of our children, I mean, locations\u2026<\/p>\n

The Exit Room<\/b><\/h2>\n

This is our first location. \u00a0We started with 4 adventures and added another in our second year. \u00a0The adventures at our original location are varied in both subject and puzzle techniques. \u00a0Our adventures are:<\/p>\n

The Surgery<\/b><\/em><\/h3>\n

The overseas trip of a lifetime takes a sudden turn when you awaken in a dark, dismal surgical room. As your head begins to clear, one thing is certain: you must escape before those that placed you there return!<\/p>\n

The Heist<\/b><\/em><\/h3>\n

Your nefarious gang of thieves has been targeting First Loyd\u2019s Bank for months, and you just found a way in. Breaking into an employee\u2019s apartment is the first step, but making your way into the bank may prove to be much more difficult.<\/p>\n

Legacy Lost<\/b><\/em><\/h3>\n

The famous adventurer and archaeologist, Clive Plitger, has died, and his collection of treasure and artifacts is now up for grabs. Can you find the treasure\u2019s hidden location and escape before Plitger\u2019s enemies arrive and take it by force?<\/p>\n

Midnight at Ravenloft<\/b><\/em><\/h3>\n

Strange happenings are afoot at Castle Ravenloft. Rumors of the undead circle around the mysterious castle\u2019s inhabitant, Lord Stracht. Do you dare enter to discover the secrets the castle holds?<\/p>\n

The Grey Project<\/b><\/em><\/h3>\n

You are part of the special FBI team, The Grey Project. Its mission: to investigate extraterrestrial phenomenon across the nation, and this may be your biggest case yet. The question is, are you willing to believe the truth once you find it?<\/p>\n

The Exit Room at Paradise Park<\/b><\/h2>\n

Taking your family out for mini-golf and go-karts? \u00a0Why not throw in an adventure! We have two adventures to choose from at Paradise Park.<\/p>\n

The Mystery of Whispering Woods<\/b><\/em><\/h3>\n

Patterson Menck, the controversial author and renowned Sasquatch hunter, is missing. Is it possible that he has actually discovered proof of the existence of Bigfoot? You have traveled to his remote cabin in the far northwest to investigate the truth behind his claims.<\/p>\n

The Email Incident<\/b><\/em><\/h3>\n

Oh no! Did you just hit reply all? That snarky comment wasn\u2019t meant to go back to everyone. Follow your clues through the adventure of puzzles to help you recover the email you should not have sent. It\u2019s a scavenger hunt you\u2019ll never forget.<\/p>\n

The Puzzle Parlor \u2013 Branson<\/b><\/h2>\n

Our newest location is opening soon! \u00a0Located in Branson, Missouri, we will have two amazing adventures, with more adventures to be added. \u00a0We\u2019re really excited about this newest venture!<\/p>\n

The Mystery of Whispering Woods<\/b><\/em><\/h3>\n

Scorpio: Operation Chaos<\/b><\/em><\/h3>\n

Your nemesis for years, Dr. Scorpio, has always evaded your team of secret agents. This time, you have the upper hand. Armed with a computer virus, your team plans to infiltrate Dr. Scorpio\u2019s lair, plant the virus, and escape before his \u201cOperation Chaos\u201d plans come to full effect. Will this be the mission where you finally catch Dr. Scorpio?<\/p>\n

The Puzzle Parlour \u2013 White Plains, New York<\/b><\/h2>\n

This is the franchise that made us national! \u00a0The rooms at the New York location are similar to rooms at The Exit Room (the names of some have been changed to protect the innocent\u2026 or something like that), but just because you\u2019ve done one location doesn\u2019t mean you know the twists and mysteries at the other. \u00a0So, if you\u2019re ever in New York, stop by for an awesome adventure.<\/p>\n

Vampire<\/b><\/em><\/h3>\n

Your bitten friend will turn into a vampire at midnight if you don\u2019t act fast. The one thing that will save them is locked away in the mysterious Castle Ravenloft. Can you recover the vampire serum before your friend becomes foe?<\/p>\n
